Chosen of the Deathless

The Chosen of the Deathless are the elite undead commanders of the Order of the Deathless, acting as the royal guard and trusted commanders of Eivnudionth, Lord of the Black in the city of Nárarmr. These spectral undead are known by their intricate plate armor that appears to be empty, and looks to just be floating armor pieces. When in pursuit of their quarry the emptiness within their armor glows with a purple and green radiance.

Requirements

Those souls selected by Eivnudionth, Lord of the Black to become the Chosen of the Undying forget their past selves. Eivnudionth instills unyielding loyalty to him and removes the knowledge of who they were, while personality and combat knowledge remains their identity is stripped away.

Appointment

The chosen of the Deathless are conjured by Eivnudionth, Lord of the Black via ancient magics, pulled forth from the souls of long dead warriors. When instilled as the Chosen of the Deathless these souls are bound in unyielding loyalty to Eivnudionth.

Responsibilities

The Chosen are tasked with maintaining order throughout Nárarmr and defending Eivnudionth, Lord of the Black should anything attempt to harm him.

Intricate plate armor is bound to the soul and they are awarded enchanted weapons based on the weapons that the warrior soul used most in life. All of the Chosen of the Deathless all wear tattered capes as a part of their uniform.
