Orean Sands

Should you have some reason to travel to this desert here are some tips you should follow. I've made a number of trips there and the first recommendation is to not go there. It kind of sucks and the number of landmarks worth visiting is really limited. But you know if you have to go, keep this in mind:

• The easiest way to the travel the Orean Sands is to join a Orean Caravan.
• Otherwise when traveling in a small party, hire an Orean Guide and bring enough rations and water, or someone who can conjure enough.
• During the night secure your rations and water. Otherwise the creatures of sands will come and eat them.
• When you see a sandstorm apporaching dig in to protect yourself. The sandstorms are very deadly.
• Do not enter the Echo Dunes area, unless you know exactly how to handle the consequences.
• You should visit the beautiful oasis Pesra if you get a chance. They have some great food there and an absolutely stunning architecture.
• Should you see Otarkshedar, the Wise and Merciful at the horizon, run for your life. His understanding of Merciful does not match yours.

The region is a vast, dry desert with massive sand dunes. Life in this desert is harsh as there are many hazards with little food and water to be found.
