Madeline is Evelyn's mother, her maiden name was Madeline Esendria. She was an interior designer in Peldra.
Madeline and her husband Calvor disappeared from a ship in unexplained circumstances almost thirty-five years ago. Divination reveals nothing, not even if they are alive or dead.
Madeline is a member of the House Of Joy, and left decades before her daughter was born. Her original name was Madeline Sanguint, but she changed her surname when she left the planet to avoid being tracked.

Calvor and Madeline were abducted by the Atanar. They are rescued by Evelyn in Dawn of Chaos.
Following their return, they were assisted financially by the Society For Freed Sapients.
They eventually decided to settle on the planet Civris.
