Society For Freed Sapients

The Society For Freed Sapients (SFFS) is an organization primarily dedicated to ending the slave trade throughout known space. They're known for their support of those who've been freed from slavery as well as organizing campaigns to dissolve the practice in many nations, but are also known for assisting emergent 'souled' AIs with gaining identification documents, funding, and positions in the world.
Officially, the SFFS doesn't have a militant arm, but unofficially they fund several well-equipped private security forces which go after known slaver forces. Many members of these forces are former slaves as well.
Those assisted by the SFFS include Evelyn's parents, Calvor and Madeline.
