The White Pikes

The tribe and personal army of Warlord Ankrah. They are tribesmen first and soldiers second. Making them extremely loyal formation and family. They get their names from the type of wood used to craft their weapons. It is a unique type of driftwood that spent years soked in sea water and then dried intensely in the desert sun, making extremely light weapons but brittler than regular wooden shaft. Elite members (often referred to as "Sand Ghosts") also coat their exposed skin with a mixture of salt, ground bone and animal fat, making them tougher to spot against the Salty Dunes and protecting their skins from the elements.

The formation origins in the schism and exile of Ankrah's companions. Lead by a military genius, and rutheless even for Sand Orcs, they had immense success in raiding settlements. Their notoriety grew as well as their members reaching 500 in just a few months, they exerted vengence and whiped-out the tribe that exiled them. Over the next 5 years, the formation grew to about 7,000 troops adn twice as many family members which can also bare arms when needed. They have recently invaded and established control of Salt-Town. They now assert full military, social and political domination aver the settlement making it their "hometown"; very unusual for a nomad warring tribe .
