The Warden
The Warden
Chaotic Evil
The Warden used to be one of the leading lieutenants during the war against The Obsidian Knights. His forces were responsible for shattering the attacking force of Obsidian Knights during the Battle of Anvil. His giant shoulder plate is cursed; it gives him strength and regeneration, and increases in power the more angry he becomes. A side effect of it is that his wounds never fully heal, and that he's in constant agony — which adds on to his anger, making him incredibly strong.
He was once impaled through the stomach by one of The Obsidian Knights' spears; you can only imagine the terror they were feeling when they witnessed him tear their barbed weapon straight out of himself, leaving a gaping hole that quickly regenerated right in front of them.
He was known to be very cruel, and would often scour the battlefield post-battle to search for survivors that he would torture for information.
He is not an expert war strategist, and simply follows orders given to him from Atlas. He's also not great at improvising in the absence of orders. Due to this, his forces often take heavy casualties when sent on battles, which is why he now operates The Dungeon.
Condemned for decades in constant agony and starvation, he roams the cold, dark halls in search of any prisoners trying to escape and does the only duty his broken mind can remember. His expertise is torture, bringing suffering to others is the only thing that will give him even a faint echo of what we would call joy. He is a shattered shell with imprints of a purpose, what fragments that are left of his mind are devoid of compassion, only in the deepest trench of his soul can he see faint memories of his past life.
He stays in a relatively stable mental state when prisoners are in their cells or where they're supposed to be, but seeing any attempts at escape throws him into an animal rage where he will not hold back his strength.
Abilities:
- Impossibly fast regeneration of wounds, though, they never fully heal
- Insurmountable strength that scales with how much pain he is in
Weapons / equipment:
- Ball & chain: his primary weapon outside of his fists, which he uses equally as often.
- cursed shoulder plate: the source of his curse, it has binded the armor to him, he is unable to remove it. Atlas has the key.
- helmet: has a live feed of all the cameras in The Dungeon broadcasted straight to his face. He can’t take it off.
Weaknesses:
- Low intelligence, can be outsmarted.
- He attacks anyone that isn't in a cell, so can be prone to falling for distractions
