Inquisitorium Drakkonnis

Overview

The Inquisitorium Drakkonnis — known colloquially as the Dragon Inquisitors — is a clandestine, all-female order of pureblood Asiendalian women, sworn directly to the service of King Eremon Mordos. Their presence is rare and feared, for their deployment signals not mere investigation, but absolute, inescapable judgment.   More than spies, more than assassins — they are the Eyes of the Dragon, instruments of the King’s absolute dominion, enforcing loyalty and order through terror, cunning, and divine authority.

Structure and Rank

Supreme Inquisitor (1): The absolute head of the order, chosen by the King himself.   Dragon Sisters (Elite Inquisitors): Veteran enforcers, interrogators, and field operatives.   Blood Sworn (Initiates): New recruits undergoing brutal training and indoctrination.   Each member is bound by ancient oaths, divine magic, and the Mark of Dominion, a living brand signifying their absolute property status to the King.

Abilities and Training

The Dragon Inquisitors are no ordinary women. They undergo decades of training in:   Telepathy and Thought Reading: Capable of ripping secrets from even the most fortified minds.   Swordsmanship: Experts in single combat, bladed executions, and ceremonial duels.   Arcane and Divine Magic: Specializing in detection, tracking, torture-enhancing spells, illusions, and curses.   Torture and Interrogation: Masters of physical, magical, and psychological methods.   They are blessed with Divinity Rank B+, granting them near-supernatural resilience, longevity, and resistance to mortal influence.

Doctrine and Beliefs

The Inquisitorium operates under a core doctrine:   “We are His Eyes, His Will, and His Wrath.”   They are utterly loyal to King Eremon. Every Inquisitor is ritually stripped of personal ambition, identity, and ties, reshaped into a perfect tool of imperial enforcement. Their loyalty is cemented not just through duty, but through the Mark of Dominion — arcane symbols etched upon their flesh, binding their bodies and souls to the King. Many Inquisitors also view themselves as sacred extensions of the King’s personhood, often practicing rituals of submission, devotion, and ceremonial displays of loyalty.

Deployment and Purpose

The Dragon Inquisitors are only deployed in matters of grave importance:
  • High treason investigations

  • Espionage and infiltration detection

  • High-profile criminal hunts

  • Quelling heretical cults or forbidden magic

  • Silencing rogue nobles or dissenters

  • Interrogating prisoners too dangerous for conventional means
When dispatched, they act with absolute authority, bypassing all local laws, military jurisdictions, and noble privileges. Their word is considered the King’s decree and when they arrive — the realm holds its breath.

Appearance and Presence

Clad in jet-black uniforms, crimson detailing, and with glowing green eyes, the Dragon Inquisitors project an aura of chilling menace. Their appearance invokes fear and reverence in equal measure — often compared to the dark agents of old myth.

The Inquisitorium Oath

"I am the Eye, the Claw, and the Judgment. My flesh is His. My will is His. My life is His. By blood, by mark, by command — I serve, I see, I slay."

Rumors and Secrets

It is whispered that no Inquisitor is ever allowed to retire — only death or reassignment to the King’s private chambers await them.   Some claim they do not age, their lifespans unnaturally extended through the King’s divine dominion.   It is rumored that several Inquisitors are selected from the King’s own harem, further binding them to his personal will.
