Grandos Eternum

Introduction: The Game That Took Asiendal by Storm

Grandos Eternum, often simply called Eternum, is a strategic card game played across the Kingdom of Asiendal, both casually and competitively. Developed as a fusion of traditional strategy games and cutting-edge holographic magitech, it has become a cultural phenomenon, captivating duelists from all walks of life—from noble families to street-level enthusiasts.   Players can engage in 1v1 duels, team-based battles, and even unique large-scale war simulations using their Personal License Mark (PLM) or designated Eternum Arenas for immersive, full-scale battles.

I. Game Mechanics: How It Works

Grandos Eternum is built on three core mechanics:
1. Mana System
Every deck requires a balance of Mana Cards, categorized into various types:
  • Elemental Mana (Fire, Water, Air, Earth, etc.)
  • Void Mana (Dark magic, destructive forces)
  • Life Mana (Healing, vitality, divine magic)
  • Tactical Mana (Military strategy, leadership abilities)
These fuel abilities, summon creatures, and activate spells. Some decks specialize in one type, while others mix them for strategic flexibility.
2. Card Types

  • Leader Cards – Represent commanders, rulers, or legendary figures. (Example: Eremon Mordos, King of Supremacy)
  • Soldier Cards – Standard units used to attack, defend, or perform special actions. (Example: Asiendalian Juggernaut)
  • Spell Cards – Can be offensive (damage), defensive (shields, barriers), or utility (traps, counterspells).
  • Artifact Cards – Permanent field effects or equipment upgrades that influence the battlefield.
  • Beast Cards – Powerful summoned creatures, from dragons to mythological beasts.

3. Card Attributes
  Every card has:
  • Attack Power (AP) / Defense Power (DP)
  • Health Points (HP)
  • Mana Cost (MC) – How much mana is required to play the card.
  • Abilities & Effects – Passive traits, special skills, or triggered effects when conditions are met.
Example Card:   Eremon Mordos, Young King

II. Game Modes

  1. Standard Duel (1v1, 2v2, 4v4)   Players use a 60-card deck to deplete their opponent's Life Points (LP) or fulfill special win conditions.   2. RTS Mode (Real-Time Strategy Mode)   Cards transform into real-time controllable holographic units, engaging in strategic war simulations. Players command their forces like a general.   3. Tower Defense Mode   Players must defend their stronghold while summoning units and spells to counter waves of enemy attacks.   4. Turn-Based War Mode   A full-scale war simulation where players deploy armies, siege fortresses, and conquer territories over multiple turns.

The Competitive Scene
Grandos Eternum is played at highly prestigious tournaments, such as:
  • The Dra’ahan Invitational – Exclusive to top-ranked duelists.
  • The Shadow Circuit – A rumored underground league where rare forbidden cards are used.

Famous Players & Stories
