Overview

  The Kingdom of Asiendal boasts a complex and well-structured hierarchy that reflects its rich history, cultural values, and the importance placed on lineage and nobility. The governance of Asiendal is a blend of monarchy, aristocracy, and meritocracy, with significant roles played by both pure-blood and half-blood Asiendalians. The kingdom's political structure is designed to ensure stability, order, and the effective administration of its vast territories.  

Monarchy

  At the apex of Asiendal's political structure is the monarchy, led by the reigning monarch, King Eremon Mordos. As the supreme ruler, the king holds absolute power and is revered as both a political leader and a divine figure. The monarch's role includes making critical decisions, overseeing the implementation of laws, and maintaining the kingdom's prosperity and security.   King Eremon Mordos: The Dragon God, ruler of Asiendal, known for his immense power, wisdom, and leadership. He embodies the principles of justice, strength, and benevolence, guiding the kingdom through both peaceful and tumultuous times.  

The Royal Council

  Assisting the monarch is the Royal Council, an advisory body composed of representatives from the major noble houses. The council plays a crucial role in shaping policies, advising the king, and ensuring the smooth administration of the kingdom. It includes high-ranking officials, military leaders, and trusted advisors. The council meets regularly to discuss matters of state, address issues facing the kingdom, and propose new initiatives.  
  • Grand Vizier: The chief advisor to the king, responsible for coordinating the council's activities and ensuring the implementation of royal decrees.
  • High General: The leader of the kingdom's military forces, overseeing defense and strategic planning.
  • Archmage: The head of magical affairs, responsible for the regulation and advancement of magical practices.
  • Treasurer: The official in charge of the kingdom's finances, managing the treasury and economic policies.
  • Diplomatic Envoy: The representative responsible for foreign relations, negotiating treaties, and maintaining alliances.
 

House Mordos

  The members of House Mordos, even if they aren't the king, such as the queens, princes, and princesses, come second in authority in almost every field. They wield considerable influence and power, often holding key positions within the kingdom's governance and administration. Their roles and responsibilities are vast, ranging from military leadership to diplomatic missions, and their decisions carry significant weight in the kingdom's affairs.  

Noble Hierarchy

  The noble hierarchy of Asiendal is divided into two primary categories: High Royalty, Medium and Low Royalty. These noble houses are integral to the governance and administration of the kingdom, each with distinct roles and responsibilities.  

High Royalty

  The High Royalty consists of six major noble houses, each led by a pure-blood Asiendalian. These houses hold significant influence and power, often overseeing large regions and important aspects of the kingdom's governance.   House Mordos: The royal house led by King Eremon Mordos, responsible for the overall governance and protection of Asiendal. They also maintain the kingdom's ancient traditions and oversee the royal guard.   House Valior: Known for their expertise in diplomacy and foreign relations, they manage Asiendal's alliances and trade agreements. Their diplomats are renowned for their skill in negotiation and maintaining peaceful relations.   House Thalorien: Guardians of the kingdom's magical knowledge and institutions, they oversee the Asiendalian Academy and magical research. Their scholars and mages are at the forefront of magical innovation.   House Draconis: Commanders of the military forces, responsible for defense and strategic planning against external threats. Their generals and soldiers are highly trained and disciplined.   House Luminara: Stewards of the kingdom's wealth and economic policies, they manage trade, commerce, and resource allocation. Their economic strategies ensure the prosperity and stability of the kingdom.   House Celestia: Protectors of the kingdom's cultural heritage, arts, and religious practices, ensuring the preservation of Asiendal's traditions. Their patronage supports artists, musicians, and religious institutions.  

Medium and Low Royalty

  The Medium and Low Royalty consists of twelve noble houses, which include both pure-blood and half-blood Asiendalians. These houses manage various administrative and regional responsibilities, supporting the High Royalty in governance.   House Valtor: Overseers of law enforcement and justice, ensuring that laws are upheld and justice is served.   House Karath: Guardians of public infrastructure, responsible for the maintenance and development of roads, bridges, and public buildings.   House Zephyria: Managers of agricultural production and food supply, ensuring that the kingdom's population is well-fed.   House Nyxara: Overseers of education and scholarly pursuits, managing schools and universities across the kingdom.   House Faelith: Protectors of the kingdom's forests and natural resources, ensuring sustainable management of the environment.   House Orinthal: Guardians of health and medicine, overseeing hospitals, clinics, and public health initiatives.   House Sylvaris: Managers of transportation and travel, ensuring efficient and safe movement of people and goods.   House Kaelith: Overseers of trade and commerce, managing marketplaces and trade routes within the kingdom.   House Draxion: Guardians of magical artifacts and enchanted items, ensuring their safe use and distribution.   House Veloria: Managers of cultural events and public celebrations, ensuring that the kingdom's traditions are honored and enjoyed.   House Thalorin: Overseers of communication and information, managing the flow of news and information across the kingdom.   House Myrathis: Protectors of the kingdom's borders, ensuring the security and integrity of Asiendal's territory.
