Gaea Undivided

The official faith of the Divinate, Gaea Undivided believes in a lack of icons altogether. To followers of the Undivided, Gaea is a single, immutable being that appoints the Vox Prima (First Voice) as a temporal representative. They believe that 395 years ago, Gaea herself sent the Vox Prima Lucia to save the nations from sin, and they honor her martyrdom by following the precepts laid out in the Revelations of Lucia, their holy text, and the second Vox Prima, Apellina. While they pay homage to the First Canticle, followers of Gaea Undivided believe it to be overruled by the Revelations. Followers of the Undivided also abhor iconographic representation, and as such Divisionists call them Iconoclasts. The holy symbol of Gaea Undivided is a sun rising over the earth, eclipsing the planet.   Men are allowed in the ‘lay clergy,’ which have no formal place in the hierarchy of faith but perform such roles as clerking and maintenance at churches. Men are not allowed to lead prayers or be formally ordained, however. While Gaea Divided has the tradition of martial priestesses such as the Magisterium, Gaea Undivided has a section of martial priests, who serve as religious police, known as the Inquisition. Trained in weapons and manifesting their spells from pure devotion, Inquisitors assume the responsibility of enforcing unity of faith by any means necessary.
