Jean Rapeur is one of the greatest assassins in this world. He only works for those who give him enough money to spend his time on his targets. The targets themselves also have to be a challenge. Rapeur will never just settle for an easy contract. He needs to stay in shape.
Jean Rapeur was once a member of The Daggerfalls, the greatest assassin organisation in Arthenos, but quickly left the organisation claiming that they were holding him back. He now serves as a personal contract killer and is one not to be trifled with. He is one of the most skilled mage slayers this land has to offer and when the price on your head is high enough, Rapeur will come and claim his price.
Jean Rapeur is an Altvallìn who has a very lean and muscular build.

Personal history
Jean Rapeur was born in the city of Blackstar and living in the huge city meant coming into contact with criminal activities. He did so at a very early age. His parents were pretty poor, even though they worked as traders in contact with the larger town of Governia. When he was young, his parents would take him and his sister, Isa Rapeur with them on their trading voyages to the town of Governia.
Jean Rapeur is a half-elf. His mother was a sole mother when she had him. His stepfather was angry at his mother for sleeping with an Elvallìn and cut off the points of his ears. His sister is actually his half-sister but protected her from the tyranny of her father. He would stand up against him to protect her, which resulted in many beatdowns and scars. He would often get beaten. One day his stepfather accidentally killed his mother, in a rage Jean took a kitchen knife and stabbed his stepfather through the heart. Jean was now alone with his younger sister and had to find means to sustain himself. Quickly, they had to leave the house they lived in and were now living on the streets of Blackstar. Jean vowed that he would be a better carer for his sister than his parents were able to be.
Now living as a beggar together with his sister, Jean was desperately in need of help. He even went so far as to ask the governor Taka the Wise for help but when the Golden Conclave kicked him out of the city hall, he took the turn towards some darker forces. It was the leader of the Daggerfalls, named Maiev Inigo who took Jean in,as she saw the potential in this young childe. Jean, however, kept this a secret for his sister.
Years went by and Jean was able to put money on the table, quite a bit of money. So much money that his sister Isa wondered where he got the money from. Jean was quite evasive of this question, which would always rise when he went out for a couple of weeks and sometimes came home covered in blood. Isa worried about Jean as he became more and more distant and apathetic towards her.
One day, Jean got a contract for a person who resided in the city of Redania. The contract was towards a young woman who was putting a rival trader out of business. It was only when he killed her that Jean realised he had killed his own sister. By then, Jean had become one of the greatest assassin the land of Serana had ever seen, maybe even Arthenos. His kills were silent and deadly, it became second nature to him. He mostly didn't see the faces of his victims after they had died, just to confirm the kill. His usually so emotionless face, broke down with tears. His heart filled with the rage of vengeance. Jean blamed everyone for the death of his sister. The Daggerfalls for sending him on his mission. The contractor for targeting his sister. The world because it is so goddamn unfair.
