Governia
Governia is a small town in the south-east of the province of Serana. It has been ruled by the family Ravenhelm for years. They have lived under the thumb of the vampire lord Harknar Ravenhelm.
Harknar Ravenhelm now controls the town of Governia, keeping the Book of Visku he has hidden in Ravenhelm Castle.
Government
The town is under the rule of the baron dwarf Ignar Snakesliths.
Defences
The town does not have a wall so is susceptible to attacks from the nearby forest where monstrous creatures live. A mysterious mist surrounds the town which makes it very hard to find the town even during the day.
Industry & Trade
The mostly crop their own food. They don't really have any contact with the outside world.
History
The town of Governia was built by the family Ravenhelm who ruled it from their castle. It became a small city under their rule but the family had questionable rituals. The townspeople believed that they supported black magic and stole their children in the night and attacked the castle, killing nearly everyone in the castle. Only some escaped and have not been seen since then. But the fear that one of the family of Ravenhelm might return is instilled in the townspeople and their stories talk about Harknar the vampire lord who will someday return to take revenge.
Geography
Governia is near the King's Bay in the south and surrounded by a small forest.
