Delaney Kasanov is a senior student at Astra Nova, Scion of House Sönnungr and the #1 Ranked student in the school. He normally comes across as an extremely goofy and very energetic individual. with some peculiar habits. Delaney has a very optimistic attitude and can almost always be found smiling. He does not allow his laid back nature to cloud his judgment or impede his way proving to be an extremely hard worker, in contrast to his laid back nature, he is experienced in dealing with dangerous people and is not scared easily. He has pushed himself over the course of his school term fine tuning his physical skills and reflexes, and the use of a weapon that most people would find clunky and unwieldy, that of which being his transforming Buster Cannon. Both him and fellow Scion Maverick D'Chanaa have a friendly love for the same sports game, Crowns.

Body Features

Delaney is a lean bodied young man with light, slightly sun tanned skin and dusty brown hair that , as well as blue eyes. He has a natural "positive resting face" he's iconic for around the Sönnungr House.

Special abilities

Delaney is quick, strong, and full of determination and skill. His mastery with a big bulky weapon like his "Monster Buster" is admirable given the dexterous and efficient use he gets out of it. Whilst rarely relying on his regalia for extra support, he does have a spirit strong enough to have ample reserves lest he need it. His weapon, Tallahassee, is a hulking weapon that can function as a massive sword or axe, taking advantage of the shift in weight and performance each form brings. The weapon also has a built in system of arcanotech which allows a heavy caliber projectile to be fired out of a barrel built into the weapon. Exhaust valves let off steam from the thermodynamic engine that drives the moving parts of the weapon.  For situations where his buster is not preferred, he typically keeps a sturdy and large hunting knife along with him strapped to his belt, and can hold his own armed with just that and his bare athleticism.

Apparel & Accessories

Being a House Scion, Delaney has a custom designed sturdy jacket adirned with a mural of the Sonnungr Flace Chalice on the back. He typically accompanies this with a white or light colored t-shirt, a sturdy pair of pants, a blet with a lion's head belt buckle, and a neck bandana. No matter the occasion, he is almost always seen adorned in his favorite rancher hat that of which supposedly was one of a small collection that once belonged to his father. His left and dominant arm is typically kept wrapped in a compression wrap.

Out of school grounds, he favors wearing plain, solid colored shirts, sturdy pants, and one of an assortment of hat and belt buckle combinations (of which he has a surprising amount), as well as sturdy work boots or rancher style ones.

Personal history

Delaney was homegrown in the agricultural district that makes a border around the outside of Ars. Living humbly but always dreaming big, Delaney recalls always knowing he wanted to grow into a career that allowed him to be around other people and to help them in some way shape or form. Tragedy struck one day however when he, out in the fields, witnessed his home be razed by the flames of a criminal mage. Delaney knew what he wanted to do with his life, prevent others from feeling the pain and fear he did that day, and thus worked hard to save up enough money and credibility to be accepted into Astra Nova. His prayers were answered, and for the past three years, Delaney has worked himself hard to improve himself and help out others in order to be an inspiring and able bodied House Scion. Now that both of his younger siblings have emerged in Astra Nova's student body, he feels even more motivation to be a good example.
