Ars
The city of Ars is known as both the largest city by sheer population, and as Sonenheim's true "Melting Pot." It's streets and breadth of business, trade, and population have transformed it into a formidable society with many places to live, shop, work, and explore. Races from all over call the city home, the culture of many different regions combining to form a city with distinct and culturally varied districts that surround the heart of the city.
Demographics
The city of Ars is known for it's expansive size and diverse demographics. Humans, beastfolk, and fey all have their place in Ars, but the human races and ethnicities hold the largest concentration.
Government
Ars is overseen by a large council of representatives, and headed by a High Chancellor, who unlike a monarch, holds no blood relation to the previous chancellors and are elected by the council.
Infrastructure
The Hold of Arcaeus - The center of the city and a large, circular center where the government holds presence. Most notable nobility and government officials hold offices and structures here, as well as the presence of stone garden of statues known as Valia Park.
Merchant's Strip - A ring of shops, markets, and other service providers. Whilst these establishments can be found throughout Ars, this district sees the most business, and therefore the most successful and large scale shops. It's wide array of goods and sellers makes the entire district colorfully decorated with a variety of cultures.
Torrent - The city's waterfront and a popular place of work and housing for a good portion of Ars's cascadian population. It receives goods and transports from all of the nations who circumvent the Gallant see for trade and travel.
Newvel - A district with several amounts of domestic housing. It's tall, multi-apartment buildings scrape the sky at their tallest.
Flowlight - An industrial district and one notable for it's arcanotech powered factories.
Meadow - A verdant suburb filled with modest housing, and nature. Trees and parks as well as public gardens are a plenty. It houses a fair demographic of gnomes, elves, and beastfolk.
Venser's Note - An entertainment district that glows with many lights at night. Whilst one of the craziest in terms of goings on that go down there, many people can find a good time whether it'd be attending special fares, restaurants, or gambling dens.
The Pillar - A stone dominated part of the city whose old, antiquated architecture is kept standing. Some elder demographics have lived in these domains since Ar's arcanotech explosion of innovation, not moving on with the time. A saitaran population is also fairly sizable in this area, moreover because there is an amphitheater and a coliseum where both stageplays and performance fights are watched by crowds.
Golden Gale - The surrounding eastern area outside of Ars's walls. It functions as it's agricultural district and is very spread out, making it one of Ars's biggest districts by square coverage, by pales in comparison in terms of population.
