Sol Kasanov
Sol Kasanov (a.k.a. Firedrake)
A member of Sonnungr's student body as well as the younger brother of a legend. He's a short tempered and aggressive person, known for being gruff and overconfident sometimes, all the way up to antagonistic at other times. His fierce nature and competitive drive have come to be well known to most of the rest of his class, even in some of the other houses. With the expectation of being the sibling of the #1 Hero Student in Astra Nova, it can be tough not to find eyes on him. Despite hows bombastic he can be at times, he doesn't get into trouble and climbs through the ranks to become a talented hero in the making in his own right.
Physical Description
Body Features
Sol is a young man of average height, with a slim, muscular build and fair skin tone. He has short, messy brown hair and his eyes are sharp and electric in color.
Special abilities
Sol is not only very athletic and talented at fighting, but also very intelligent and extremely perceptive, capable of strategic planning and quick improvising. Moreover, Sol's grades are among the highest of his House and he already knew how to read perfectly by age 4, evidence that he treats studying seriously. Sol also possesses surprising talent in other areas, able to care for both male and female hair, as well as skill with cooking, even though he doesn't show a particular interest in them. Overall, Sol is considered a natural-born genius with the potential to be one of the best up and coming heroes around. He engineered his own gear of choice. One such implement being a gauntlet with tubing that connects to a tank and device worn on his belt that allows him to create and manipulate fire. The volatile explosions and infernos he can create are devastating to enemies. He also carries with him a broad bladed dagger with special metal that can be heated using his gauntlet to make a white hot striking blade without the metal warping due to the heat.
Apparel & Accessories
As a Sonnungr student, he wears the Zeal set jacket while on campus. He owns a light, flame-retardant sweatshirt over that, as well as a pair of black pants and shoes. He also has his gear, a metal gauntlet and the belt connected device it is powered by, that he keeps with him during times when action is called for. He has a metal face mask that has a cloth padding on the inside and that shields his nose and mouth from the fumes of his own weapon, and goggles to keep his eyes from drying out in the heat.

Personal history
Growing up in the agricultural district that forms a ring around Ars's walls, Sol's childhood saw him spending lot's of time with his family and the outdoors. He, as well as the rest of his family, suffered a terrible loss at the hands of a villanous sorcerer who destroyed their home in the crossfire of their fight against authorities. Losing his parents to the incident, his brothers were all he had. He's attending his first year at Astra Nova, having worked for many months just to prepare for the entrance exams. After blasting into a spot in Sonnungr, he has continued to break ceilings for himself, though still holds something of a personal grudge against his brothers for varying reasons.
