Eli Kasanov

Elias Kasanov (a.k.a. Snowbird)

A member of House Solos and the youngest member of the Kasanov Siblings. Though both his older brothers lay within Sonnungr, he was branched off into Solos's student body, where he mostly keeps to himself. Eli is a very timid, reserved, and polite boy, frequently overreacting to abnormal situations. Due to years of being looked down by his middle brother Sol for lacking much in terms of skill or regalia control, he typically comes off as insecure, and non-expressive. Though he has trouble breaking out of his shell, he is diligent in his work and is incredibly crafty and insightful for his age, as well as harboring a kind and gentle heart. He is one of the only children to be accepted into Astra Nova at the age of 14, an achievement for sure, but one that further drives his inferiority complex, putting thoughts in his head that he doesn't belong, a full case of "imposter syndrome." He desperately wishes to prove that his age, size, and upbringing don't define him. He specializes in the implementation of a special kind of pyromancy that produces cold flames that glow a bright blue or white. They essentially burn after creation, capable of raising or dropping in seconds to searing or below zero temperatures by the added stimulation of a special piece of chemical administrating arcanotech. This makes him adept at using both heat and cold to his advantage in the field. He utilizes this along with a handcannon capable of casting forth said magic, and also transforming into a long weapon shaft that he can create heads out of icefire, like scythes, glaives, spears, and saws.

Physical Description

Body Features

Eli is a small and petite boy, not as tall as either of his brothers, but with room to grow given time. His hair is kept relativley short with messy bangs. He has a horizontal scar along the back of his neck he sustained from an excursion with his older brother Sol when they were both younger. Though meek in build, given time, he wishes to train himself to be physically stronger, if he can manage to encourage himself enough to pursue it.

Apparel & Accessories

As a Solos student, his uniform consists of the Balance Set jacket with a white tank top underneath. He wears a pair of black pants that are a bit big for him, but specially tailor made to allow them to stay on. He keeps the baggy ends of his pants stuffed into his over sized tan boots, and adorns himself with a prized wool hat with poms, as well as a hooded blue sweatshirt he keeps unzipped most of the time.

He tends to not change much in the way of fashion in and out of the school, simply swapping his school uniform jacket and pants for a tshirt on pants of his own. He own's a collection beanies, one of his favorites being a simple black one with a blue bird button attached to the brim, though he never wears these beanies during school. (Too afraid of them getting damaged.)

Personal history

Eli is the youngest sibling of the three Kasanov children. Both of his brothers, Delaney and Sol, are known to be quite his opposites. From as far back as he can remember he's looked up to Delaney and always compared himself to both his brothers. With Delaney becoming the star of Astra Nova and Sol climbing to become one of Sonnungr's ace students, he's felt pressure to find some way to compete. He mustered up enough strength to take on the learning of magic in his own right, but, upon meeting Headmaster Hawthorne And Mr. Xiaohun in person by chance one day, earned their interest, and to his surprise, was offered a shot at enrolling at Astra Nova despite being a year and a half younger than the required age. He worked even harder and impressed the faculty so much at the test that he won himself a spot amongst the student body. Instead of ending up in Sonnungr like his brothers however, he found himself being advised to join Solos, to which he accepted. He has yet to make much of a splash in terms of achievements at Astra Nova, but he has already come under the eyes of his peers due to his age.
