Stormlands

On the eastern side of Duva lies a land ravaged by the fierce tropical storms that move in from the eastern sea. Torrential downpours, roaring winds, and anomalous weather patterns frequent this region as the storms are pressed up against the central Duvan mountains that shield Morydal and the Sandsea from both their destruction and rains. No known peoples inhabit this land as no vegetation or wildlife has ever been reported by adventurers foolish enough to venture into it and lucky enough to return. Those that have made it back alive talk of a land broken and splintered by the powerful forces of nature and lightning storms so intense they light up the land as if all Three Suns merged into a bright blue ball and descended beneath the clouds. Some even speak of a mountain where the lightning never ceases, seemingly anchoring the storms over the land.
By the time the storms reach the Tryvyum Sea, they are mere echoes of what they were when passing over the Stormlands, but they are still fierce enough to endanger even the most advanced Seafarer. Captains that don't time their journeys across the sea to avoid the seasonal storms rarely live to learn from their mistake.
