Three Suns

Aroka is unique in that it has three suns that orbit a larger, completely black object. With the suns each orbiting at a different rate, not all of the suns are visible to Aroka at once. In fact, during the new-year, there are 6 consecutive days where no sunlight reaches Aroka. This fluctuation in temperature is the primary contributor to the Great Tides.
