Wren (a.k.a. Wolf, Birdguy, Birdman, etc)

Physical Description

Body Features

Generally an athletic build. Tends to lose weight when living in Gaia as an Anisal and becomes more lanky.

Facial Features

Well defined jawline, scar on his chin. Typical Animan features of naturally tanned skin and dark brown/black hair. Eyes the colour of a deep forest

Special abilities

Can transform into a Wolf

Apparel & Accessories

Enjoys wearing red. When he is Anisal, his clothes are uncoloured or brown

Mental characteristics

Personal history

He grew up as an Animan with a traumatized mother and emotionally distant father, as well as a favored older brother. Father wanted him to join Gaia's army, or enlist as a guard for the Ruling class, like himself. He decided to apprentice under a Blacksmith (may change), and gained favor with a young woman named Oria, who he planned to marry one day. Due to his close relationships with the Anisal, his status was lost and became an Anisal himself. He had a hard time adjusting to this new life, and his brother got him a job as a gladiator in the fights. Still unhappy, he ended up leaving Gaia, something not allowed among the Anisal. When he returns to Gaia at the behest of Roane and Skya, he finds work as a cart dog for a hunter.

Education

Father taught Wren and his brother combat training, as well as simple reading, writing, and math

Employment

Began as a blacksmiths apprentice, when he lost his status and became Anisal he became a gladiator as it guaranteed him a place to stay. After recieving a wound in the ring as well as leaving Gaia, a hunter hired him to be a cart dog, where he currently works to this day.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Will always remember the day he bested his older brother during training with his father. Has a few wins from his gladiator days.

Failures & Embarrassments

Being disowned by his father, losing his status as Animan

Mental Trauma

He seeks approval from his male figures, and follow them blindly at times. This stems from his father, as Wren feels like a disappointment to him. It is this reason he becomes close with Rejar.

Intellectual Characteristics

Passionate, has a 'shoot first ask questions later" approach to problems.

Morality & Philosophy

Believes in Batan's philosophy of treating others equally. It is this philosophy that has hurt him. He is faced with prejudice because of his status as Anisal, but tries to uphold the value of respect. This causes him to appear disrespectful to reglar Animen.

Personality Characteristics

Motivation

To regain his status as an Animan

Savvies & Ineptitudes

Great with horses. A skilled swordsman. Getting better with blacksmithing

Virtues & Personality perks

Honourable, quick to act, wants to save everyone

Vices & Personality flaws

Gambling, spreads himself too thin, makes promises he cant keep

History

Skya and Wren first met when they were children, however neither of them remember it well enough to recall. A few Animan boys had stolen Skya's doll made by her late mother. Wren managed to get it back and return it to the upset girl. The memory they can recall together was when Wren was still Animan. Wren had met Skya through his friendship with Rejar. Skya is very untrusting towards Animen and comes across cold towards Wren. She warms up to him as he starts hanging out more often.    They become close friends when Wren becomes Anisal, and helps him adjust to his new life. Skya is still distant towards him around Animen

Shared Secrets

While they are both interested in each other, Wren is focused on elevating his status which Skya understands, so she doesnt entertain a future with Wren. Wren is worried that getting involved with Skya would close any doors on becoming Animan again.

Wealth & Financial state

Would be among the wealthier Anisal if he didnt lose his Rojustan money through gambling. His occupation as a cart dog pays quite poorly, although he is given a little game after a job.
