Njör
The Lie.
Daughter of Lokvin and Angboda even before they arrived in Síðgard. Sister of Ogmer .
Of stature and nature akin to her father, she is of unearthly beauty, which serves her in her schemes. It were her schemes that drove her parents apart,such that she could have her father for herself.
At first she managed to blame it on her sister Ogmer, but as her father raised his hand to punish her sister and chase Ogmer away, he was held back by Vana, the Judge of the Gods, who sees through every lie without fail.
Vana explained Njörs nature, but as Lokvin raised his hand to punish Njör, Vana realized how much it ailed him, even though it was legitimate.
So she decided for another punishment. Njör was to be married to his fathers friend, Korrd, who, despite being artful as a warrior, was nevertheless a dull brute unable to hold a meaningful conversation with Njör, who is now bored to death.
Every century or so she tries another lie in order to win Lokvin's heart such that he would end her punishment, but Vana always intervenes.
Politically apt, one almost never hears a true word from her. Prayed to by the humans in order to bless a scheme, but never asked for advice, because she almost always lies.
