The Mercenary.
Once one of the finest warriors in Lokvin's service. He is utterly ruthless, cunning and shares Lokwin's knack for stratagems, albeit only on the battlefield. He remains dull to political mindgames, as they don't interest him.
He is called upon by soldiers for strength and artfulness in battle.
He is married to Lokvin's and Angboda's beautiful Daughter Njör, which was her punishment for driving her parents apart, such that she could keep her father for herself.
She abhors his dull warrior nature, but is bound to him by the spell of Vana, who is her stepmother and Lokvin 's second wife.
