The first King of Revellia known to modern history. King Tranton is credited with uniting the warring clans of Revellia and ruling them in peace for many years. He is better known, however, for his five wives, each of which he won through a quest given to him by one of the Hosts (or one of the Deinain, according to some). He would disappear late in his life on a quest for his sixth bride. King Tranton is said to have had hair green as fir, sometimes shimmering brown as bark in dim light. The King claimed to share blood with the Aernigh, and some speculated this was why none of his queens had been able to give him an heir. Later historians have pointed out that the Liddinawths, who live across the Barrow Sea, have hair of varied and vibrant colors, and they perhaps may have visited Revellia earlier than historically recorded.
