Goat People
The people of the Sentinel Mountains
The people of the Sentinel Mountains, which separate Monos from Milos. An isolated and distrustful people, relatively little is known about their culture. Contact and conflict has shown, however, that the Goat People have prominent growths above each eye in place of proper eyebrows. Reports vary, but many suggest these growths are actual horns growing out of their skulls, reminding many of the mythical Glastins of ancient times. The Glastins lived in the woods, though, and are of course extinct along with the rest of the Aernigh.
The Goat People, appropriately enough, are goatherds and appear to be nomadic. They are also said to have especially hairy legs, but this is entirely unconfirmed. A people living in the cold mountains are unlikely to expose their legs often for the observation of visitors. What is known is that all Goat People grow facial hair. Women typically shave their faces except for their chins, while men typically shave only their chins. Wearing a full beard is a sign of someone who possesses both genders, who typically serve as priests.
