Ghastly Shores
The Ghastly Shores is the westernmost region of Revellia, the western edge of the Noddlands and the home of Dubraigh, the port city and most powerful western settlement in the Revellian Promontory.
In ancientry, the leaders of this region supposedly called themselves the Ghastly Kings, or the Kings of the Ghastly Shores. Their dominions were small, but proved highly defensible against attacks from the Warchiefs of the Noddlands.
Clan Sirtal, a recently risen clan that rules over Dubraigh, will sometimes claim themselves to be the original kings of the region, calling themselves the Kings of Winds.
The Ghastly shores are fairly low to sea level in most locations, with the elevated cliff-line of Dubraigh being only a few dozen feet above the waters. The area can get frozen over in bad Winters, and Autumn storms often compel the poor to flee the area inland.
