Carnad Diarchy
One of the great military powers of the Batsalian Union in Southern Olveiria
Carnad is said to breed the finest horses in the world, which has allowed them to hold their ancestral lands for centuries. They warred historically with Wundun for all of known history until the formation of the Union, especially upon what is now the Carnai Steppe. Nowadays, that power is spent south against the Sceyori in the Chokehold.
Carnad is governed by two Deiads, called the Goddess of Blood and the Goddess of Water. The Goddess of Blood governs matters of war and diplomacy, while the Goddess of Water governs domestic matters.
