Baarach of Beth
A legendary warrior king of the Milosian Peninsula, Baarach of Beth is the traditional patriarch of Clan Beth, the present rulers of Revellia. He supposedly built what is now Revelback on the site of his defeat of the Revali, one of the Aernigh clans that originally ruled the Peninsula before the coming of the Orrish.
There are primarily two different versions of this myth. In one version, King Baarach united the survivors of several clans, including the few remaining Aernigh of other clans, to stand against the Revali army, wiping them out entirely. In the other version, the Revali made peace with Beth's army by wedding a Revali princess to him.
The best known aspect of Baarach was his weapon: a flaming maul with which he smote the Revali soldiers. Several would-be kings throughout the history of Southern Milos have sought to recreate Baarach's greatness by using a flaming weapon, often with poor results.
