Aercuadh

An ancient, legendary war between the First Milosians and the Aernigh, a race of preternatural wild-folk who may or may not have been real. Mythical or otherwise, their defeat at the hands of the various forefathers of the great clans of the Peninsula is a vital component of the land's cultural heritage.
Beyond some ancient bone weapons and a few stray stone artifacts that seem to owe their origin to no Milosian belief, there is no solid proof that this great war ever happened. Nevertheless, the story has been told and retold countless times over the centuries in sceyal and spell. The most famous of these are the Fayach, the Thuadh Dru, and the Uicuadh.
