Aardor is largely a subject of mystery, being overshadowed by the legends, rumors, and horror stories of his wife Lady Helena. Vilma Vain records him only as "the heir to Malbrand," leading many to assume he died before taking the lordship. Yet if so, how could Lady Helena have taken the castle?
Most assume that Aardor died before the reign of Garland IV, as rumors of Sir Laurel Odon's visit to Malbrand, and later Dorreon II's, make no mention of him.
