Structure
High-Techarch -The big boss of the consortium, who makes all the final decissions.
Techarch -Successfull owners of renowened companies and institutions, often compared to nobles but with way techier stuff and ten times the normal wealth.
Trade-Admiral -Highest possible military rank, rules over the Privateers, along with the seas. Admirals are (in)famous for setting up labour camps on uninhabited islands.
Trade-Marchal -Works as an advisor for Techarch's. They act both as generals and oversee economy.
Trade-Deputy -The other advisors, along with high possition citizens and law enforcers.
Privateers -Guards, raiders, military and slavers. These legalized pirates serve the duchy with greedy fervour and technologic zeal.
Servitors -The citizens and civilians of the consortum.
Public Agenda
Serve, earn, research, repeat, profit. These are the five "holy tenets" of the Consortium. As a rather small faction and part of the The Golden Empire , with a lot of brain and tenacity but with the lack of brawn and landmass to expand, the duchy strives to be the wealthiest and most technologicaly advanced part of the Common Lands, so that they may reign supreme in their "ethical" colonization of the New lands.
Assets
Gold, gold, more gold, massive fleets, technological advancements with steampunk enginees, exoskeletons, successfull companies and more goldi are the most massive of assets that Westport carry. In form of troops however, they have few and most of them are seabound raiders, so to compensate with this, they have built several mechanical soldiers than run on steam or pneumatic power.
Last but far from not least, Westport, while only having one city, which funny enough is named Westport, still is a massive capital with tons of companies and store, which most yield high quality trade from. This has caused the Consortium to have some of the finest foods, wine, clothes, materials and colours
History
The purest wrath of a bursting volcano carry no shadow of devestation such as a scientist scorned.This the Golden Empire had to learn the hard way, only a couple of generations after the God-Patriarch took the human throne. It all started when the the edict to only allow men to work outside farming and homekeeping was signed, which caused a major tide of anger to flow through the younger female nobles. Suddenly, they went from important figures and capable rulers to their husbands personal concubines. However, as most didn't dare or care to rise up against it, the spite grew untill the tide finally crashed against Westport and the duchess was stripped away from doing what she loved, that being studying and overseeing exotic trades, while also being forced to marry in order to keep a sliver of her old power. Suddenly, Westport and all it's surrounding towns and seaports went completely dark. Nothing was allowed to get in or out, which significantly lowered the Golden Empire's economy and forced them to act. However as they sailed troops ashore, a fleet of pirates attacked with brutal coordination and captured the ships and troops, before stripping them of value and selling the men back. Now, as the Golden Empire was poorer than ever, the mastermind behind the plan, Lady Cassandria Le'Blaeux opened the gates again and showed a world of prosperty, riches and beauty, which caused a storm of nobility and scientists alike to split out from the Golden Empire, thus joining the revolt and causing a massive fight known as the first "soap opera." Then, after half a year of constant chaos and disorder, the final blow was delivered when noble daughters all over started to marry pirates and plunderers out of pop culture, thanks to Lady Le'Blaeux, and the Consortium of Westport was given it's free state as trying to stop the revolt in the God-Patriarch's own words "was too much of a political hassle."
Demography and Population
A rough estimation shows 12.000.000 inhabitants of the consortium, where 4.000.000 of the population live within the Westport, with around 2.000.000 citizens in the nearby villages and towns on the half isle. Both of these carry a medium birth rate, with low death rate due good technology and healthcare.
The rest of the population is well divided between several isles within the western seas, along with some colonies within the New lands. They have a high birthrate along with medium death rate as well, because of much more hostile territory combined with less resources.

Western part of the Golden Empire, Western isles, Pygmy isles, Willow Isle, New Eastport, Cranelands and the Kiraanai isles.
Military
100.000 elite privateers, 25.000 mechanical soldiers and 35.000 Technomancers make up the Consortium's armies. They are however believed to have several more mercenary bands and slaved underneath their banners.
Technological Level
The Consortium has done several groundbreaking discoveries for mankind, such as clockwerk machinae, the steam engine and runic orbs, which leaves them in a close second place in technological level to that of the Dwarves.
The citizens can also get their hands on special technological tools and items to help their everyday life. It's all from clockwerk prostethics, to machine servants, to that extremely efficent fertilizer.
Religion
The Consortium praises mostly Ofhélamitrius, though in later days, they have come to love their father Ysand as well.
Foreign Relations
The Consortium have good relations with mostly all of the Common lands due their high quality goods and international trade routes along with an open mind for any sentient race that wants to work for them.
They are slightly disliked by Orochen tribes and hated by races within the New lands because of their trade of exotic beings and expansive colonisations.
Agriculture & Industry
The Consorium relies heavily on their weapon industries and technological companies, but they manifacture a bit of everything. A few well renowned companies however are Vanhal Weaponry, Clockwerk Industries and Silkcraft factories.
Trade & Transport
The golden geometric is a route that goes through all major civilizations within the Common Lands, with it's main hub in Westport. All manners of legal, (and sometimes illegal) trade goes through there.
Education
Westport has a very high percentage of literacy within their Consortium. Over 90% of the population can read and have basic school knowledge, with a further 73% having finished universities. Even slaves are given an opportunity to ascend into servitors by schooling themselves, and can from there rise within the ranks. They even have the same privledges as everyone elves when it comes to their mandatory education.
Infrastructure
Westport's overal infrastructure is highly based on a romantic style of cobble, limestone and brick, which is often painted and detailed with mosaic and marble along with patterns on the windows and finished with painted, either round or more commonly triangular roofs.
Furthermore, the villages and towns along with the city have the mandatory schools and universities, along with healthcare, townhals, towers, walls and tons of road networks, that are paved in cobble and filled to the brim with different statues, fountains and street lights that keep the Consortium's territories lit in a beautiful orange light at night.

The nation of conspiracies
If you love conspiracies, look no further than the Consortium. With several dozens of companies all over the isles, colonies and city, only time would tell when the businesses would steep down to dabbling with criminal organizations, or start up secret slave camps both for work and selling of sentient beings. Some companies even wage war against one another, in the name of power, gold or secret agendas.
