King of Proudheart Edwin Proudheart (a.k.a. The Bear King)

Edwin Proudheart I was the second king of the Kingdom of Proudheart. He died early in his reign, which lasted for only ten years, due to fighting a bear on his own during a hunting expedition in The Timberwood Forest which back then was vast and dense before more land was cleared. His demeanor took after his great grandfather, his name sake. He was rough around the edges king, but he was also kind hearted. He wed the daughter of a low nobled, her name was Kaitlyn Fallow.  They had three children, but they were all daughters, so when died his brother Michael took the throne.

Circumstances of Death

Died while fighting a bear on a hunting expedition, the bear was larger than a normal bear. He ordered his men to stand down that man and beast would fight till the death.
