Vozdukh

Lying to the North of Ara is the continent of Vozdukh. Many of the populations of Dwarves and Elves live on this continent, though all races can be found somewhere within its reaches.
Whilst slightly warmer at its southernmost reaches, Vozdukh is at best temperate and at worst frozen steppes.
To its north lie the Everwinter Mountains and beyond the frozen, icebound wasteland of the Everwinter. South of these mountains start the massive, at times impenetrable forests of the Urwald.
Several states exist in this continent, among them Belegond  , (capital Lothair ), Vindt and Kalvak.

Inspiration

Includes society and geography similar to Scandinavia, Frigid Russia & Siberia, Germany/Poland/Czechoslovakia etc. Think Gothic, gargoyles, Vikings, Mead halls etc.
