A sprawling, expansive dimension, said to be as big as the galaxy Aquila Palaxis is wide. While there's a measure of parity between locations in the Layer, and systems in the material plane, there's actually fairly minimal interplay between the two; generally, anyways, it is supposedly possible to crack through the safeguards, and cause harm to the material plane, in discernible ways.

Chrome Dataloid: a powerful alloy found in some Digimon that is created through combining Chrondataloid with organic data.
Chrome Dataloid is a super-metal that grows stronger the more it is tempered. Low-purity Chrome Dataloid will create less resistant materials. Furthermore, some cases show Chrome Dataloid can give sentience to those who integrate it.
"Messoform": A relatively newly forming substance that started to crop up on the fringes of server-worlds, its properties aren't fully known.
