Human
These humans are more evolved than their ancient human ancestors, they are almost indistinguishable to modern humans. To us, they would appear as the Native Americans before the Europeans arrived. Living in tribes based on a loose confederation of families. They are a nomadic people, either following wild herds or their own from place to place.
They still use primitive weapons (to us), they have not discovered smelting or the use of metal beyond pounding soft metals, such as gold and copper. Using animals as mounts have yet to be discovered, but they use travois and pack animals to carry cargo around. They have built primitive canoes and kayaks and have limited sea going capabilities.
