The True Travesties of the High Elves

The True Travesties of the High Elves is a group of deities reviled by the High Elves of Apa Axas. To the High Elves, their Beacons are aspirational, falling in line with the High Elven cultural ideal of ascension, while the Travesties represent the failures of the High Elves:
  1. Haught Lekki, the Archfey of Summer, who led the The Unseelie Court to rule The Feywild with an iron fist. Although he was defeated and incarcerated, he is said by the High Elves to have gathered the other 'True Travesties' to corrupt the High Elves. He is said to represent Hubris. To the High Elves, he is known as Haughtenzia Lekkan, and takes the form of a beautiful Elven man, baring the summer sun in one hand and an endlessly drifting pile of sand in the other.
  2. Retch, the Travesty of Destruction. He is said to represent the tearing down of natural orders. To the High Elves, he is known as Retatakan Whirlwind, and takes the form of an Elven man with huge unnatural eyes, and a cloak embroided with shipwrecks.
  3. Shubb'Ki, the Travesty of Corruption. He is said to represent the corruption of body, minds and spirits that all High Elves should avoid. To the High Elves, he is known as Shibberus Kingslayer, and takes the form of a middle-aged Elven man, covered in scars and foul pus, with a breath that rots the souls of those who see him within moments.
  4. Kal Crist, the Travesty of Fear. He is said to represent the poisoning influence of fear on the mortal soul. To the High Elves, he is known as Kalan Cristomanaca, and takes the form of a beautiful Elven Man with skin that appears to be made of rags upon close inspection, said to contain the true fear that lurks underneath.
  5. Channus, the Travesty of Juxtaposition. His inclusion is seemingly inconsistent, as some of the newer High Elven scholars believe his inclusion is the result of anicent elven racism. He is said to represent the depravity of the 'lesser' races. To the High Elves, he is known as Annuias Chulan, and takes the form of a short Elven man with tentacles for a beard.
  6. Sangroke Bliss, The Travesty of War. She is said to represent bloodlust. To the High Elves, she is known as Sanan Blisstaker, and appears as a green-skinned Elven woman who clutches two axes, each of which drip endlessly with blood.
  7. Zemer Epsh, the Travesty of Fire. She is said to represent the destruction of unbridled passion. To the High Elves, she is known as Zementia Eposhkin, and appears as a gaunt Elven Woman who is surrounded by dark-fire, and can slip into the shadows unnoticed.
  8. Surm Tutdrug, the Beacon of Death. His inclusion is the source of much derision from the other races, who revere Surm Tutdrug as a hero. He is said to represent Spite. To the High Elves, he is known as Surmatious Tuttendruggal, and appears as a hideous Dwarf-like creature with many arms, to take all that he desires around him.
