Ancient Natural Spirits
The Ancient Natural Spirits are a group of spirits created by Surm Tutdrug to watch over the environments of Apa Axas while The Vida Quda was missing in action. Each of these spirits watched over a certain aspect of the land, and had features remeniscent of the Lady of Twine and Vine. The group is as follows:
- Evergreen Polus was born with the ice white hair of the Vida Quda and was placed in charge of the Arctic wastes of the North and South.
- Marinus the Kelpborn was born with The Vida Quda's copper fruit, although these fruits were created from pearls grown from Marinus' hair, and was placed in charge of the oceans and coasts of the world.
- Dunia Alove had the lithe and flowing figure of the Vida Quda and was placed in charge of the burning desert sands.
- Borea Galebreath was born with the soothing song in the heart of The Vida Quda and was placed in charge of the wooden places of the world.
- Vana the Fast was as fleet of foot as the Vida Quda and was placed in charge of the majestic grasslands of Apa Axas.
- Tall Eva bore the height and awesome presence of the Vida Quda and was placed in charge of the mountainous realms.
- The Lady of the Bog possessed the Vida Quda's love of plants and things that grow from the ground, and was placed in charge of the quagmires and swamps of the world.
- Uttar the Underling reflected the dark shadows behind the Vida Quda's eyes and was placed in charge of the mysterious Underdark.
