Autumn Pipes of Whispers

The Autumn Pipes of Whispers are a set of magic pipes, known as the signature instrument of Mals Lekki. The song of this instrument is said to invoke fear in the The Unseelie Court, and is said to chase away the warmth of Summer to set the stage for Winter.
They are a set of panpipes crafted from holloweed, golden-red branches with leaves that fall and regrow as they are played.
Every use of the pipes, when not played by Mals Lekki, causes the user to lose fragments of their memory, such as the names of loved ones, their purpose, or the location of their home. The memories manifest as whispers that follow the player, only heard by them. Fey spirits often appear to the user after some time, claiming to return the memories, but twisting them into falsehoods, making it hard for the user to discern truth from illuson.
