After the Vayan administration's massive human rights abuses were exposed, the Federal Military (along with many other Vayan institutions and branches of the government) faced the question of whether to stand with the regime now known to be guilty of terrible crimes or to commit to loyalty to the new revolutionary administration led by the new Magelord, Madam Novia Celsa. In the absence of any time or ability to make a coordinated move, many of those at the top of the Vayan institutions were forced to make that choice alone, with great ramifications to their subordinates. Valeria Marcella, the Federation's most decorated imperator, was among the first of the top brass of the Federal Military to affirm her support for Madam Celsa's administration. Now, Imperator Marcella serves on the The New Federal Committee as a representative of the Federal Army.
