Quickmarch
At least it's a quickmarch through Quickmarch.The village of Quickmarch has never been much to look at. Nicknamed Quickmarsh, it’s mostly seen as a stop on the way to better things. Yet no one denies the Broken Barrel pours a good drink, or that news of the kingdom is in good supply. Travel to the south brings one to the port city of Ujen, second only to the kingdom’s capital of Calthas. North takes one towards Dalestone and from there out towards the Holy Ardian Empire.
Government
Berrek is the local reve and representative of the king. A small village council tends to handle daily matters.
Defences
The town can raise a small militia. At times garrisons of the King's Guard will pass through and a building is set aside as their permanent garrison.
Industry & Trade
The village relies heavily on trade from those passing through to Ujen, Dalestone, or parts further afield. The grass from the Red Marsh is used for many crafts and can be used to make strong rope, similar to hemp.
