Tactile Signs

Tactile signs are put on buildings in all major cities of the world. They have convex symbols which can be easily touched and understood by blind people.

Tactile signs are a sign of our desire to help others, especially those whose lives are harder
— A Susannite Priest

Invention

The name of the person who came up with the idea of tactile signs is lost to history. What is known is that tactile signs were invented in the Age of Darkness in the Empire of Atamor. It is said that they weren't present in the Age of Susanne, because in that time there were no disabilities. The Susannite Church believes that disabilities are Lady Susanne's punishment for letting The Fallen to take over the world.

Placement

Tactile signs are usually placed on the right side of the building's entrance on level of the head of an average human. Some people also place tactile signs near products in their shops.

Tactile signs? Is it all you can come up with? You have magic, for Susanne's sake! You force us to walk from door to door and touch the walls to find a stupid sign!

Hahaha, the quote from the blind person. XD Really simple idea, but I can definitely see it helping people with limited vision throughout your setting.
