Holy Kingdom of Agni
The Holy Kingdom of Agni is a theocracy and major power in Agelua. Adherent to the Faith of The Six, the Holy Kingdom is one of the largest territories on the continent, occupying multiple islands.
The Holy Kingdom is ruled by the leader of the faith, the Oracle-Pope. The current Oracle-Pope is Her Holiness Raya VIII.
Because the Holy Kingdom is a fiercely devout nation, non-adherents are not allowed to step foot in the primary island of Satya unless given special dispensation; instead, they are asked to arrive at the nearby island of Rta and present themselves in the city of Mitra instead.
Structure
The Holy Kingdom is ruled by the Oracle-Pope, who sees to the needs of the faithful as a corporate whole, and is said to receive the visions and guidance of the Six. They in turn advise/seek the advice of the Synod, a council of leaders from the various dioceses of the faith throughout the world. Below them lie the Lay Council, administrators that see to the day-to-day operations of the Holy Kingdom.
Culture
Culture in the Holy Kingdom is heavily influenced by the indigenous West Ageluan culture, but also revolves around the @[Faith of the Six]. The Agnian calendar is a modification of the HY calendar that includes numerous public holidays and feast days relevant to the Kingdom itself.
Public Agenda
The Holy Kingdom functions as the hub of the Faith of the Six. Its missionary caravelles are distinctive in Agelua and Kirimand.
Assets
The Holy Kingdom is incredibly wealthy, resulting from a combination of shrewd trade policy and the tithing of its adherents. It tends to distribute this wealth between programs for the Agnias poor, its trade missions, its theological library and its missionary program.
Military
The Agnias military is large, and is divided into 3 main branches:
- The Navy, who slowly patrol its territory and protect the nation against outside threats. Sizeable patrol fleets also roam all of Agelua, who seek and protect missionary caravelles;
- The Office of Enquiry, who pursue internal threats to the Holy Kingdom;
- and the Noble Arms, an elite division of the Navy who are sent on highly-sensitive missions.
Political Influence & Intrigue
The Holy Kingdom believes in maintaining the use of the Hanseatic Year in order to promote trade amongst its neighbours, although some religious institutions within Dorma also use the VA (Visionary Age) epoch, marking the year when the first Oracle-Pope received the word of the Six.

The Holy Kingdom uses the Ageluan gold slip for all foreign trade as well as within foreigner-friendly cities. Within Dorma and most settlements under the Holy Kingdom's purview, Agnias use paper currency, issued by the Agnian Mint.
Legislative Body
The Lay Council handles all non-theological administration of the Holy Kingdom. The Council is made up of representatives of each diocese, the number proportional to that diocese's population.
Judicial Body
The Tribunal of the Holy Judiciary, simply known as The Tribunal, is the governing judicial body of the Holy Kingdom. The Tribunal is composed of the Civil Court (which oversees civil and criminal disputes), and the Ecclesiastical Court (which is a court that deals specifically with issues affecting the Faith of the Six, such as heresies.)
