Mitra

Mitra, the Foreigner Capital of the Holy Kingdom, is a settlement located on the island of Rta. The city serves as a trading post for non-adherents of the Faith of the Six, as they are not allowed in the Holy Capital of Dorma.
The city was deliberately built to overlook the city of Dorma and its pristine marbled architecture, a symbolic expression of a non-adherent's separation from the true faith.
Nevertheless, Mitra is a prosperous trading post, and its proximity to the bridge linking Agelua and Damir and relations with Lerma make it the first stop for any AG airship entering the continent for the first time.

Government

Mitra, like all other cities in the Holy Kingdom, are presided over by an Alderman and a local council, who handle the administrative duties of the state. In addition, the city sends five representative members to the Lay Council in Dorma, to legislate on nationwide issues. Finally, Mitra is considered its own diocese, and is presided over by a Primate (instead of a Cardinal), who reports to the Synod (and therefore to the Oracle-Pope.

Defences

As the Holy Kingdom's second most-important city (behind only Dorma), the city and the surrounding island of Rta is protected by a large battlegroup belonging to the Naval Host. Regular patrols are conducted and the city's defences (which are not insignificant) are kept in a ready state as Mitra is intended to be a defensive bastion before a presumed last stand in Dorma in the event of an invasion.
