Boton Town (BOW-tun-TOWN)
Boton Town, informally called Boton due to the island it is located on, is the closest occupied settlement to the Bejeweled Reach. Home to Alexandrite House and used as a staging area by both the Agnias Adventurer's Guild and Agnias Navy, the town is now slowly gaining prominence due to the increasing importance of the Reach as a potential transport conduit between Agelua and Kirimand.
Government
As a claimed territory of the Agni, the island is nominally under the control of the Agnias Navy, although steps are being taken to allow the Agnias Adventurer's Guild to run a civil government in addition to guild administration.
Infrastructure
As a new settlement, Boton has very few facilities aside from residences and shops handling amenities. Major buildings include the Infinite Horizon, a tavern with views of the Bejeweled Reach; Alexandrite House, home of the Agnias Adventurer's Guild in the island; and Fort Omen, a training outpost for the Agnias Navy, and a holding area for their efforts within the Reach.
Districts
Boton only has two effective districts - a residential district near the center of the island, home to Boton's permanent workers and stationed servicemen, as well as a commercial district, evidenced by shops located around the island and towards the hills.
