(Ship of Fools) Into Eir Ciddig
With the crew in possession of a powerful artifact and wishing to integrate it with the Punyal, they proceed to the frontier nation of Eir Ciddig , in order to find an engineer capable of affixing the Aetherial Sphere to the ship properly.
Morg seeks a Furdan engineer named Ruddigore who has taken refuge in the wildlands of the frontier nation of Eir Ciddig. Because the nation is heavily mountainous, making it a risk for the Punyal to enter, one of the local alehouse owners suggests they moor the ship in the sparse foothills before venturing to the interior to find the druid village where Ruddigore has fled.
The village in question, Arth Ddu, lies north into the western edge of the mountains - the crew flies onto the foothills and then sets on foot into the mountain pass. The crew detect a presence watching them and Sydris launches a pre-emptive strike, scaring those pursuing away but attracting the attention of Alexiel Fora as a snowstorm arrives.
Being welcomed into Arth Ddu, Alexiel and the druidic circle are hesitant to present and instead of bringing them to Ruddigore, and Alexiel Fora, questions why they are here. Fora answers defensively, and is hesitant to reveal Ruddigore until they can gain her trust. In order to do this she sends the crew to destroy a crystalline growth that is causing an elemental imbalance in the area, something that is warping nearby creatures into abberations. Heading into the cave purported to be the source, the crew find the cystalline growth, but also find a warped bear, and a dead cub nearby.
A fierce melee ensues as the crew attempt to clear the area of the crystalline growth, but mishaps between the crew result in Morg preparing to kill the Fleetfoot Twins in order to complete the mission. Morg is about to end the lives of the Fleetfoot twins when Alexiel intervenes. She binds Sydris into a permanent geas in order to enforce obedience to Morg, and leaves Alexiel with a warning. As Alina reunites with Morg and she surveys the ship, the twins start harbouring ill will towards the captain and the rest of the crew.
