Hand of the Choir

An order of warriors loyal to the choir that serve as bodyguards, messengers, and soldiers. Typically made from choir fanatics that lack spell-casting potential, Hands live only to serve those choir members above them and follow their orders without question.

Structure

While serving a function for a religious organization, the Hands have a very traditional military structure. A circle of generals organize the logistics of the order, while commanders and captains lead lower ranking troops to execute missions given to them by choir leaders or higher ranking Hands.

Directly serving the choir, their agenda is the Hand's.

Assets

Their funds are requisitioned from the choir's treasury, usually to cover arms, armor, supplies, and wages.

History

Founded as the choir became increasingly influential in regional politics, the Hand of the Choir was formed out of necessity to act as a martial order that was loyal only to the Choir and the Angelic Host.
