Home to the Deepgleam Family's main headquarters, this town has flourished thanks to the family business. What started as a small frontier town has quickly grown into a large bustling town and is attracting many individuals in search of work.

Demographics

Originally a Human outpost the town has expanded not only in size but in diversity of races as well. The Deepgleam Family encouraged hybrids of all kinds to work for them, and has adopted hybrid orphans from around Tamerea. In addition the mining and jewelry business has attracted many Dwarves and Humans to the town.

Government

The town has it's own governing body that is supposed to be separate from the DeepGleam Family, however the family's pockets are deep, and they hold substantial power to influence the town's policies. This has caused some tension between some of the officials and the family, however one way or another the family always get what they want.

Industry & Trade

This town is almost entirely supported by the DeepGleam's Mine, and most jobs in the town involve the family's business or support it. Major exports include gems and jewelry.

Infrastructure

The town is home to the DeepGleam Mines and a ton of infrastructure related to it.The mines have a cart and track system to move goods back and forth from the mines to the town and vice versa. The DeepGleam family has owns several warehouses, blacksmiths, and jeweler's, in addition to an orphanage. The road system has been updated to brick to improve the transport of goods and supplies.

History

The town was originally founded as a lumber town, but struggled against a series of events. One day a Dwelf woman and Half Orc man came to the town, intending on spending the night before continuing their journey the next day. However a bad storm passed through during the night, taking out the rope bridge the duo was supposed to use. Repairs were slated to take a couple of days, so the duo decided to explore the surrounding hills while they waited. During this time the Dwelf discovered a cave filled with gems and sensing an opportunity, quickly set up a mining business.

This town is found near the base of a small mountain.

The DeepGleam family mines supply a seemingly endless supply of gems of all kinds. and is the main source of the town's wealth.
