History of Dunkrast

In the year 243 DD the Highpriestess of the Goddess Eydreen discovered that, just like her, other Darkelves were able to break free of Keltoras. Furthermore this Darkelf she met was exceptional in his bravery and character. The one she met was the founder of the nation of Dunkrast. She saw that he was a pure soul, determined to free his people from the grip of the slaving god. Convinced by his good intentions and ferver, she joined Malagaun Dunkrast in his crusade to purge the Darkelves from Keltoras's influence.

Malagaun Dunkrast attacked with his newly formed clan the Darkelven fortress of Unterkurat. A place where traitors to Keltoras were brought and tried. Additionaly it was the seat of the Highpriestess of Keltoras. Malagaun knew his only shot was a decisive surprise attack that would free all those doomed in the eyes of Keltoras. If he would succeed, he'd gain many supporters in the upcoming war. If he lost the torch would be passed on to Aydra Mercurial which did not participate in the battle. During the fight Malagaun stumbled upon a tribe of enslaved Hobgoblins. He gave them the chance to join his side and win or die fighting, or keep living as slaves to a god that doesn't even accepts priests of their race.
This moment would be later refered to as the recruitment of the prime guard. The hobgoblin he spoke to was Malakar Hi'Zen which would be his personal bodyguard.
