History
Musiel was part of the recon team sent to Earth to assess the nephilim problem during the 20 Flocks era. He met Nathaniel while there and they fell in love, resulting in Musiel's fall and defection from Heaven.
History
Rezebeth is Nathaniel's older sister and was old enough at his birth to remember their mother's death. She has never blamed him for Hana's death and continues to remind him that he was literally a child and could have done nothing to change the circumstances.
Nicknames & Petnames
Rezebeth usually addresses Nathaniel as "Nathan" or "Nate." Nathaniel addresses Rezebeth as "Beth" or "Rezzie," the latter only when he's feeling upset or insecure.
Relationship Reasoning
Nathaniel sees Marik as a rival for Musiel's attention and affection. As a result, he tends to be very territorial and aggressive when Marik is around. Marik mostly finds Nathaniel's jealousy amusing, which also doesn't help the problem.
History
In the late 1990s, Nathaniel became curious about human relationships, so sought out a relationship with a human woman named Talia. Talia met him while hiking and they went on several dates before Nathaniel admitted to her that he was an angel. She fell deeply in love with him and they soon discovered her pregnancy. Nathaniel was a devoted father and eager to raise a human child, but his interest waned when Sophie was about 8 years old. Nathaniel returned to the nefilim resistance at that point, abandoning Talia and Sophie in Marquette.
History
Nathaniel was eager to be a father when Sophie was born, but lost interest by the time she was eight years old. He abandoned her and her mother, Talia, in Marquette to return to the nefilim resistance. Talia and Sophie followed him a few months later, determined to remain in his life.
Relationship Reasoning
Sophie loves her father and is confused by his decision to abandon her. That said, she is stubborn and willful, demanding his attention and butting her way into his business as often as she can. She will not be forgotten. Nathaniel is mostly puzzled and mildly annoyed by his daughter, but loves her enough to tolerate her presence and irritation.
