Personal history
The only sign of a break in their relationship came in 2001 when Nathaniel spent several years living with a human female. When he discovered that his mate's human partner was pregnant and Nathaniel intended to acknowledge her, Musiel left and spent several years in the Houghton area, where he met Milo, eventually falling into a romantic relationship with the other angel. This relationship lasted until 2005, when Nathaniel came looking for his mate and apologized, begging Musiel to return to Marquette with him. Musiel agreed, but he and Milo remained close, as Milo moved to the Marquette lakeshore shortly thereafter.

Musiel was part of the recon team sent to Earth to assess the nephilim problem during the 20 Flocks era. He met Nathaniel while there and they fell in love, resulting in Musiel's fall and defection from Heaven.
History
Marikel and Musiel hatched together and were trained together through their fledgling days. They were very close from the beginning, eventually being declared rishki and assigned to the same eserbehim whenever they were stationed somewhere new. This changed when Lucifer's 20 Flocks left Heaven and Musiel went with them, leaving his rishki behind. They remained apart until Marikel's part in the Second Fall in 1938. After fleeing Austria, Marikel sought out his rishki in Minnesota and they were reunited.
Nicknames & Petnames
Marikel calls Musiel "Moose" and Musiel doesn't throw a fit about it. Musiel calls Marikel "Marik" or "Jackass."

Marikel has Wasting Fall as of 1987. He is keeping this information from most of his acquaintances but Musiel knows.

They both know Nathaniel. Nathaniel intensely dislikes Marikel for reasons he has never disclosed and barred him from the nefilim resistance camps when they were still moving through Wisconsin. Marikel continues to follow the resistance, settling somewhere nearby whenever they stop to make a new home.
History
Milo and Musiel met in 2001 when Musiel was fleeing his emotional break with Nathaniel. They became close first as friends and later as lovers. This relationship has been conflicting for both of them, as Musiel is mated to Nathaniel and Milo is mated to Rishona.

Milo calls Musiel "Moose" without getting a dirty look for it. He also calls Musiel numerous pet names including (but not limited to) "Sexy," "Handsome," "Hot Stuff," etc.
Relationship Reasoning
When Musiel needed a quiet place to recover from his heartbreak, Milo was there. At first, it was just friendship and flock-like companionship until Milo admitted to Musiel that he felt more than a passing interest in him, sexually.

They are both heartmated to ambitious, passionate angels who can sometimes overlook their relationships in favor of a greater cause. They both also enjoy snow-related sports and games, particularly rolling down snow-covered roofs (much to the wolves' dismay).

When Milo admits his attraction to Musiel, there is danger in the admission due to the angelic taboo against angel/angel sexual relationships. Musiel soothes the fear by telling Milo that Nathaniel is an egg-born angel, a fact very few other angels know as Nathaniel is still presenting as a nephilim.
