Suffering. Pain. Death.
Look at us. Trapped in this endless cycle, doomed to fight and kill each other until the world burns out.
But it doesn't have to be that way. Believe me when I say this: we can save the world. We just have to save ourselves first.

Inspired by some of the shows I’ve watched / books I’ve read in recent years, the direction I want to take with Amalgia is one where I create stories from different point of views across the setting. Each of these will seem isolated at first, but will build and build to a singular connected point.
Remember how I keep saying that one of Amalgia’s predominant themes is hope?
As much as I love writing a good tragedy, sometimes it makes for a nice change to create a world capable of being saved. Hopefully the characters in-universe believe that too (wink wink).
Now there’s a lot of other bits in the ‘Scene’ section to fill out, but since I’m planning on creating a bunch of primer articles anyway to get the basic feel for world history, geography, etc., it feels a bit pointless to duplicate all of that.
What I’ll do instead is provide links here to helpful primers, as and when they’re created, with a brief description of what they’re about.
A basic overview to the setting. Includes information on the themes in play, or other important details that are good to know before getting into the nitty gritty of the world lore.
This primer provides some information on the kinds of organisations, groups, and factions that you are likely to read about in Amalgia.
