Personal history
Haizea was born in a small fishing village in Asturias, the Navarrese colony in the Shatterlands. When her village was destroyed in a Wyldstorm, Haizea set out northwards to Port De La Lune, crossing the dangerous Pleg-mor Gwaskogn. In the Akitanian capital, Haizea began working at a local tavern as a bar wench. During her time there, she gained the favour of the mysterious Mrs. Miggins and the Fomorian Krogstad, offering her a magical boon and physical protection that helped her survive in the rough port town. Dreaming of owning her own tavern, Haizea struck out North to Naoned, where her dreams came to fruition.
The lot on which the Ash and Hazel now sits was once the private home of a Lethan nobleman, then a grain warehouse, but had long sat abandoned along the Quai in Naoned's Mask District. Almost overnight, the lot had been purchased and refurbished, opening without announcement or fanfare, taking the citizens of the Mask District by surprise, packing in to see what they could, but finding only a cozy and bustling tavern like any other. Rumors around the place continue to circulate, but attempts to uncover the secrets are met with disappointment.

Haizea now operates the establishment as the bartender and public face of business, employing Krogstad and the Teuz Sizailh, and a small army of Boudics as staff.
